Knowledge base > Tasks > Watermark
The authenticity and integrity of recordings have emerged as paramount concerns. Incorporating watermarks into video footage from surveillance cameras is imperative for maintaining security and accountability. Watermarks are an indispensable tool in fortifying the reliability and credibility of surveillance recordings, from deterring tampering and ensuring evidentiary integrity to enhancing traceability and legal admissibility.
A watermark can be added to any camera with a Capture video task configured. Click the camera title to expand the tasks underneath. Click the Capture video task. Click the Watermark sub-task in the bottom right corner. After successfully adding the Watermark task, you can edit its configuration options and run/stop/delete it.
